Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size
Add pepper and salt
The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
Grill the bacon for about two to three minutes on each side while the burgers are cooking
For the last minute of cooking, put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each burger and close the grill lid
This will melt the cheese
Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown
Start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun
Then add the burger patty with melted cheese, two bacon slices, a tomato slice, and a few red onion slices
Add BBQ sauce to the toppings, and then put the other half of the bun on top
Enjoy the Smoky BBQ Bacon Burgers while they're still hot
